NEW FOR 2010:
- All-new model
The Hyundai Genesis is an all-new model for 2010. It is based on the Genesis sedan's platform, but is a distinct vehicle, rather than simply a two-door version of the sedan.
The Genesis Coupe is available with a choice of two engines: a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, or naturally-aspirated 3.8-litre V6. A six-speed manual transmission is the default choice on all models. The 2.0T and 2.0T with Premium Pack can be optioned to a five-speed automatic transmission for $1,500, while the 3.8 and 3.8 GT can be optioned to a six-speed automatic for $1,800, both with manual shift mode and paddle shifters. The 2.0T GT is strictly a stick shift.
Features on the 2.0T include 18-inch alloy wheels, manual temperature control, CD/MP3 stereo with USB and auxiliary input, Bluetooth connectivity, auto up/down windows, power locks with keyless entry, cloth seats, rear folding seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, cruise control, metal grain accents, trip computer, fog lamps, automatic headlamps, heated mirrors, active head restraints, and variable intermittent wipers.
The 2.0T with Premium Package adds six-CD/MP3 stereo with ten speakers and subwoofer, heated black leather seats, black leather interior accents, and power sunroof.
The 2.0T GT adds 19-inch alloy wheels with high-performance summer tires, Brembo brakes with red calipers, limited-slip differential, front tower strut brace, GT-calibrated suspension, aluminum pedals, bolstered black leather seats with red cloth inserts, red leather interior accents, and xenon headlamps.
Features on the 3.8 include 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, six-CD/MP3 stereo with ten speakers and subwoofer, USB and auxiliary input, Bluetooth connectivity, pushbutton start, power locks with proximity key, auto up/down windows, auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, garage door opener, heated black leather seats, folding rear seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, black leather interior accents, trip computer, chrome fascia, solar control glass, xenon headlamps, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, power sunroof, active head restraints, and variable intermittent wipers. A navigation system can be added; the system includes a 6.5-inch touch screen and multi-gauge display with instantaneous fuel consumption, time and torque meter.
The 3.8 GT adds 19-inch alloy wheels with high-performance summer tires, aluminum pedals, Brembo brakes with red calipers, front strut tower brace, and GT-calibrated suspension.
